Whenever you use the App, you agree to be automatically bound by this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy governs the collection of your information when you use the App or which the Company may collect, the purpose of the collection, and your rights and our obligation with respect to the collection of your personal information. This includes your rights and obligations with respect to the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR) under EU which took effect on 25 May 2018.

I. The Information That We Collect
The information that we collect falls into one of three distinct sections:
I.i Information you provide to us
We may collect information that you voluntarily provide to us in the process of making a support request or when providing feedback. This information may include your name, address, email or contact telephone number. When making a support request or submitting feedback, the aforementioned details, as well as any other details that are provided, are provided with your automatic authorization for this information to be used internally for training and quality purposes.
I.ii Automatically captured information
We automatically collect anonymous usage information from you. This information is used for two purposes: marketing attribution and product improvement. Persistent anonymous identifiers in the form of either gclid, mskclid or other clickids are used for marketing attribution; helping Search Manager and our advertising providers better serve more relevant advertising. Separately we may also collect anonymous cohort information based around your user agent, the source of your install (e.g., the page on our website that referred you to the extension), the week and year of your install, your operating system, browser version, and certain install flow events (defined as the sequence of pages that are wholly owned and controlled by 2 Clicks Media Inc. that you visited before and after your extension install). This information is used for product improvement and error reporting; helping us identify where users uninstall our product and indications as to the reason why. We may also collect the specific search query information that originally led you to visit Search Manager (for example ‘how to change search engine’) however we do not collect or store any search query information that you may generate while using our application or communicating with 3rd party search providers nor do we collect, monitor or store your search history.
I.iii Information needed for the proper functioning of Search Manager Browser Extension
Search Manager stores your search engine preferences (the search engine that you have selected) in order to correctly redirect your search query. It also uses any partially typed searches for search suggestions and search autocomplete purposes. It does not store any search queries that you make whilst using the Search Manager extension.
II. Why We Collect This Information
Search Manager values the information which you entrust with us. In general, we will use your information and where applicable, personal information for the following purposes:
- To comply with laws and regulations as may be required.
- To perform collection, processing and disclosure of data in relation to legitimate interests of our business, and in general, for the functions of the App.
The basis for our collection of information and personal data are these legitimate interests, and/or the consent provided by users of Search Manager.
III. How We Process Your Information
In cases where your personal information is collected, we ensure that your information is collected and stored in a secure manner within our App, storage, and servers.
Your personal data under our watch shall be:
(a) processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner in relation to the data subject;
(b) collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes;
(c) adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed;

V. Intellectual Property
To protect the Company from any copyright or intellectual property violations, you hereby represent and guarantee that you own any information or work which you claim is yours upon submission to us, and that you possess or are sufficiently authorized concerning the intellectual property of this information or works, and that they do not constitute an illegal, defamatory, or obscene matters. You hereby release the Company from any liability arising from or in connection with any information which you may have provided, or we collected, and agree to indemnify the Company in case the latter encounters any potential or actual claims, damages or liabilities on the basis of your provided information.
VII. Additional Notices
For California, and under Section 1798.83 of California’s Civil Code, a California Resident may request information on the disclosure of its personal information for direct marketing purposes to third parties during the past year. VIII. Amendments
The App and the Company reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy anytime as it sees fit, and said amendments shall be binding ten (10) days after the App’s new Privacy Policy is published.
XI. Dispute Resolution
You hereby agree that unless required otherwise by a specific regulation, this Privacy Policy shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of London, United Kingdom, and all disputes or claims in relation to this Privacy Policy shall be commenced within the exclusive jurisdiction or venue of St Kitts & Nevis, to the exclusion of all others.
